The circular flow represents the flow of goods, services, spending and income in the economy. In macroeconomics record is kept of goods and services and their total values = called national accounts. Spending in the economy is represented by Final consumption expenditure by households (C), Gross capital formation (I), Final consumption expenditure by government (G). Total spending = C + I + G.
