Week 3 we will be revising adjustments completed in grade 10 and 11, and also new adjustments for grade 12. The lesson will enable you to understand the preparation of company final accounts, taking into account year-end adjustments, as well as the year-end adjustments covered in grade 10 and 11. It will also include the year-end adjustments related to income tax, payment and declaration of dividends and other company related items. You will also learn about final accounts such as: Trading account, Profit and Loss account as well as the Appropriation account. Lastly, it will include the reversal entries of some adjustments, i.e. accruals, income received in advance and prepaid expenses.
